Please join us in a Community Terry Fox run on Thursday at the Hornby Island Community School. There will be a 1km, 2 km and 5km route marked for you to enjoy. Even if you don't want to walk/run, come and cheer on your community!
The students at the Hornby Island Community School have created a large map of Canada and are working in tracking their kilometers and would like to invite the community to join in and put there kilometers on the map.

A little about Hornby Recreation.
Hornby Recreation is a committee of Hornby Island Residents’ & Ratepayers’ Association (HIRRA) that networks with all the many physical activity oriented groups on the island. Our mandate is to assist & provide recreation programs for all ages & to promote a healthy way of being in which physical activity is a valued & integrated way of everyday life.
